Las Vegas Anniversary
My wife and I love going to Las Vegas. But here's a not-so-secret thing about our visits: we don't gamble. Sure, I'll put in a few bucks at a slot machine here and there, but the last time I played a table game was in 2015 and that was probably maybe the third or fourth time I sat at a table to gamble.

However. However. HOWEVER!

We have now discovered the joys of bingo. We're now in our 40s, so... geriatric mode activated, I guess.
So, I guess we do gamble?

Outside of all the alone-in-a-hotel-room adult activities, we love just wandering around.
Just like with camping, there're so many places in Las Vegas to explore. The enormous shopping centers, the gargantuan gambling floors, the downtown avenues, the sprawling pool areas...

And, my god! The people-watching!

And, my LORD! THE FOOD!
When I'm not stuffing my wife, I'm stuffing my face. That's for damn sure.
And sometimes I do too much of one to do the other. I'll let you do the calculations.

We celebrated 25 years as a couple. And 19 years of marriage. It simultaneously feels like it's been forever and also has gone by in the blink of an eye.
I have a feeling life itself just feels that way. Both plodding and full-steam ahead. It's dizzying to think about.

I was fifteen when I met Rebekah. She was nineteen.
And now, here I am one day away from turning forty-one. So much life... the overwhelmingly joyous and the suffocatingly tragic.
Life is just that way, though. A dichotomy that'll give you whiplash if you let it.

Cheers to another 25 years! And more Vegas visits!
