2026 - Quarter II

We discovered a beehive in the crawl space above the ceiling of our second floor. Does that have a term? It's not really an attic because you can't stand up in it and it's not a room or anything. Our landlord is very slow to act for anything going on, but she got this taken care of in a rather speedy two weeks or so.

Saw a rainbow while out running.

Hiked to a waterfall that had graffiti on the rocks around it.

A few Disneyland trips.

Went to a 40th anniversary of Pee-Wee's Playhouse celebration at the Hollywood Bowl. Just a delightful and special experience!

Someone in our neighborhood started leaving notes on giant piles of dog poop that were left in yards saying, "We're watching you and know who you are."

Got sick of my long hair and shaved my head.

Camped in Flagstaff and visited the Grand Canyon and Sedona! This is getting its own post(s), soon.

Listened to a lot of Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, and David Bowie.

Started following ▶ tape stuff ▶ on Youtube.

Started a marathon training plan.

Celebrated my son's 21st birthday.

Celebrated my son's 16th birthday. In Hawaii. A trip that's getting its own post(s), too.

Started dreading paying my electric bill.
