2026 - Quarter I

It seems fitting that at the beginning of the tenth month of year I begin posting photos that were taken in it.

I'm absolutely one of those better-late-than-never kinda guys. No apologies.

I don't want to gloss over everything, but at the same time, I can't write about it all and devote time to every little fun adventure that's happened so far. I want to try and get as current as possible. So this is my way to speed things up a bit while also devoting singular posts for the grand adventures.

Here's a rundown of just some of the stuff that went on during the first quarter of 2026 and how I (choose to) remember it:
- The year started with rain
- I joined Runna
- Camping at the Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA which is not located in Palm Springs or Joshua Tree
- Taking pictures of my wife and dog sleeping
- Deciding whether to run in the morning when it's dark or in the evening when it's dark
- Minnie's Moonlit Madness - very fun, after-hours cast-member scavenger hunt at Disney California Adventure
- Nine Inch Nails in Vegas with my youngest son (brb, crying)
- Going to the beach on the most overcast day of the year
- Running two half-marathons in a month
- Enjoying the quiet, "boring" moments of life
