My Favorite Photos of 2025, Part II
Going into the latter-half of the year, I am so grateful that my family and I have been able to do so much that take us out of our home into the communities and the natural beauty around us.
Trevor Noah said, "If there's one thing you will never waste your money on, it's traveling. Traveling is the antidote to ignorance." Sometimes my heart aches when I acknowledge the reality that there's so much of the world that I will not get to see in-person; that there's such a vast part of Earth that will remain unknown in the truest sense to me. There will be waters I will never swim in, streets I will never walk, sand I will never trudge through, mountains whose paths I will never amble, oceans I will never hear roar, food I will never eat, people I will never get to smile at.
The world outside my door inspires so much excitement in me. I try to see the rich beauty in everything. I try to cherish each opportunity to capture things and moments that may otherwise have been lost to the ether of everyday life and everyday experience.
I hope the rest of these photos are a testament to that sentiment. The stuff unnoticed and the moments too-soon-forgotten are actually the ones worth preserving.
Big thanks for always checking out my work throughout the years. I am very blessed to be able to have just a tiny piece of the internet to call home and very lucky to have you as an audience to appreciate the photos I take.
Here's to a new year! Cheers!
